She wanted a keeper..
A keeper of her heart,
A keeper of her darkness,
A keeper who would never leave her...

She wanted a believer,
A believer of her strength,
A believer of her dreams,
A believer who would stand with her..

She wanted a protector,
A protector of her smiles,
A protector of her own evils,
A protector who keeps alive the child in her..

And as she opened her eyes,
She saw a figure...
Smiling back at her...
It was her OWN reflection in the mirror.
